Términos generales de venta
General Terms and Conditions of Sale — AUREVONY
Preamble
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("GTCS") govern all purchase transactions made on the AUREVONY online store, operated by SASU IDEVASION, a French simplified joint-stock company (Société par Actions Simplifiée Unipersonnelle), registered under SIRET number 99188973400018, with its registered office at 4 Rue Père Auguste Valensin, 06000 Nice, France, VAT number FR20991889734.
These GTCS apply exclusively to sales made to consumers (non-professional individuals purchasing for personal use), in accordance with the French Consumer Code and applicable European Union consumer protection regulations.
By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge having read, understood and accepted these GTCS in their entirety, without reservation. These GTCS constitute the sole basis of the commercial relationship between AUREVONY and the customer, and prevail over any other document, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
AUREVONY reserves the right to modify these GTCS at any time. The version applicable to any given order is the one in force at the time the order is placed.
Article 1 — Pre-Contractual Information
In accordance with Articles L111-1 to L111-7 of the French Consumer Code, the customer acknowledges having received, prior to placing their order and to the conclusion of the contract, in a legible and comprehensible manner, the following pre-contractual information:
- The essential characteristics of each product, as presented in the product descriptions on the website
- The price of the products and any applicable additional costs (shipping, taxes, customs duties)
- The payment terms and accepted payment methods
- The delivery conditions, timeframes and applicable geographical coverage
- Information regarding the right of withdrawal and the conditions under which it may be exercised
- Information regarding the legal warranties applicable to the products
- The identity and contact details of the seller
- The existence of a consumer mediation mechanism and the European online dispute resolution platform
The customer accepts that placing an order constitutes full and complete acceptance of these GTCS and the pre-contractual information provided.
Article 2 — Products
2.1 Product Descriptions
AUREVONY sells a wide range of consumer products across multiple categories. Each product is presented with a description setting out its essential characteristics, in accordance with applicable law.
Product photographs and visual representations are provided for illustrative purposes only. Despite our best efforts to accurately represent products, minor variations in colour, texture or appearance may occur depending on the customer's device and screen settings. Such variations do not constitute a defect and do not entitle the customer to cancel the sale, unless the product delivered materially differs from its description.
2.2 Product Availability
All offers are valid while stocks last. AUREVONY reserves the right to withdraw any product from sale at any time, without prior notice. In the event that a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed and accepted, AUREVONY will notify the customer as soon as possible and offer either a full refund or, where applicable, a substitute product of equivalent quality and price, subject to the customer's acceptance.
2.3 Compliance
All products sold on the AUREVONY store comply with applicable French and European Union regulations in force at the time of sale.
Article 3 — Pricing
3.1 Price Display
All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout (euros by default, or the currency applicable to the customer's region where available). Prices are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by French law.
Prices do not include shipping and handling costs, which are calculated separately and displayed at checkout before the order is confirmed.
3.2 Customs Duties and Import Taxes
For orders shipped outside the European Union, the displayed price does not include customs duties, import taxes or any other charges levied by the destination country's customs authority. These charges are entirely the customer's responsibility. AUREVONY has no control over and cannot predict the amount of such charges. We recommend that customers verify applicable import regulations with their local customs authority prior to placing an order.
3.3 Price Changes
AUREVONY reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. The price applicable to any order is the price in effect at the time the order is confirmed. A price change after an order has been placed does not apply to that order.
3.4 Promotional Offers
Promotional prices, discount codes and special offers are subject to their own specific terms and conditions, and are valid only for the duration and under the conditions indicated at the time of the promotion. They cannot be combined unless expressly stated. Promotional pricing does not apply retroactively to previously placed orders.
Article 4 — Order Process
4.1 Placing an Order
The customer may place an order on the AUREVONY website by following the ordering process in place at the time of purchase. The customer is responsible for verifying the contents of their order, including selected products, quantities, sizes and delivery information, before confirming the purchase.
4.2 Order Confirmation
An order is deemed to have been placed when the customer completes the checkout process and payment is successfully processed. AUREVONY will send an order confirmation email to the address provided by the customer. This email constitutes acknowledgement of receipt of the order but does not constitute final acceptance by AUREVONY.
4.3 Order Acceptance
The sale is definitively concluded upon dispatch of the order and issuance of a shipping confirmation email. AUREVONY reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, at its sole discretion, in the following cases (non-exhaustive):
- Persistent payment issues or suspected fraud
- Abnormal or commercially unusual order quantities
- Incorrect, incomplete or undeliverable delivery address
- Violation of these GTCS or applicable law
In the event of cancellation, the customer will be notified promptly and any amount already charged will be fully refunded within 14 days.
4.4 Order Modification and Cancellation
Once an order has been confirmed and dispatched, it can no longer be modified or cancelled. Prior to dispatch, cancellation requests may be submitted to contact@aurevony.com, but cannot be guaranteed. The customer's statutory right of withdrawal remains applicable in all cases, as described in Article 8.
Article 5 — Payment
5.1 Accepted Payment Methods
Payment is accepted via the methods displayed at checkout, which may include credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), digital wallets and any other methods made available through our payment provider. Payment methods available may vary depending on the customer's country of residence.
5.2 Payment Security
All payment transactions are processed through a secure, encrypted payment gateway provided by Shopify Payments or its authorised partners. AUREVONY does not store or have access to the customer's full payment card details. The customer's banking information is transmitted directly to the payment processor via SSL encryption.
5.3 Payment at Time of Order
Full payment is required at the time the order is placed. No order will be processed or dispatched until payment has been successfully received and confirmed.
5.4 Failed or Refused Payment
In the event of a failed, declined or reversed payment, AUREVONY reserves the right to cancel the associated order. Any costs or fees arising from a failed payment transaction are the sole responsibility of the customer.
5.5 Invoice
A purchase invoice or order receipt is automatically generated and made available to the customer at the time of purchase. The customer may request a copy at any time by contacting contact@aurevony.com.
Article 6 — Delivery
6.1 Delivery Coverage
AUREVONY delivers worldwide, subject to any restrictions that may be imposed by carriers, customs authorities or applicable regulations in the destination country.
6.2 Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are communicated at checkout and in the order confirmation email. These estimates are indicative only and are not contractually guaranteed. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, carrier performance, customs processing and any event of force majeure.
AUREVONY cannot be held liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, adverse weather conditions, strikes, or any other event outside our reasonable control.
6.3 Delivery Address
The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the delivery address provided at the time of order. AUREVONY cannot be held responsible for failed, delayed or lost deliveries resulting from an incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible address.
Any additional costs incurred due to an incorrect delivery address, including re-routing, return to sender or re-dispatch, will be charged to the customer.
6.4 Transfer of Risk
Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to the customer upon physical delivery of the order to the address specified at checkout, or upon handover to the carrier if the customer has arranged their own shipping.
6.5 Receipt and Inspection
Upon delivery, the customer is advised to inspect the package and its contents immediately. In the event of visible damage to the packaging or contents, the customer should note their reservations with the carrier at the time of delivery (written notation on the delivery receipt) and contact us at contact@aurevony.com as soon as possible, providing photographs of the damaged packaging and products.
6.6 Delivery Failure
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to the customer's absence or failure to collect the parcel within the time period specified by the carrier, the package may be returned to us. In such cases, re-delivery costs will be borne by the customer. If the customer no longer wishes to receive the order, a refund may be issued for the product value only, excluding original and return shipping costs.
Article 7 — Retention of Title
AUREVONY retains full ownership of the products until complete and effective payment of the full purchase price, including all applicable taxes, fees and shipping costs, has been received. The transfer of legal title to the customer occurs at the moment payment is confirmed in full.
Article 8 — Right of Withdrawal
8.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal — European Union
In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, customers residing in the European Union have the right to withdraw from any purchase made on the AUREVONY online store within 14 days of receiving their order, without providing any reason and without penalty.
8.2 Extended Commercial Return Policy
AUREVONY offers an extended commercial return window of 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order. This more favourable policy supersedes the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The conditions of eligibility set out in our Return Policy apply.
8.3 How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal or initiate a return within the applicable period, the customer must notify us before sending any items back, using one of the following methods:
- Email: contact@aurevony.com
- Contact form: available on the AUREVONY website
The notification must include the customer's name, order number, and the item(s) for which withdrawal is sought.
8.4 Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must be returned in their original condition — unused, unworn, undamaged, with all original tags attached and in their original packaging. Full details are set out in our Return Policy, available on our website.
8.5 Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except where the return is due to an error on AUREVONY's part (wrong item delivered, defective or damaged product).
8.6 Refund Following Withdrawal
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned items, AUREVONY will process the refund to the customer's original payment method within 10 business days of validation. In accordance with applicable law, this period shall not exceed 14 days from the date AUREVONY was notified of the withdrawal decision.
8.7 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following categories of products, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code:
- Products that have been unsealed, used or opened after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons (cosmetics, beauty and personal care products, intimate items)
- Perishable goods, food products, beverages, dietary supplements, and fresh or frozen items
- Products made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised
- Digital content supplied in non-tangible form whose access or download has been activated
- Newspapers, magazines and other periodicals
- Products that, by their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery
- Services or events tied to a fixed date or period
Items purchased during sales, clearance events or flash sales, and gift cards, are also excluded from the right of return unless a defect is identified.
Article 9 — Legal Warranties
9.1 Legal Warranty of Conformity
In accordance with Articles L217-4 to L217-16 of the French Consumer Code, AUREVONY is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. The customer has a period of two years from the date of delivery to exercise their rights under this warranty.
In the event of a lack of conformity, the customer may choose between repair and replacement of the product. If repair and replacement are both impossible or disproportionately costly, the customer may request a full or partial refund under the conditions set out in the French Consumer Code.
During the first 24 months following delivery, the customer is not required to prove the existence of the lack of conformity at the time of delivery — this is presumed unless proven otherwise.
This warranty applies without prejudice to the customer's right of withdrawal and does not require the customer to bear any costs.
9.2 Warranty Against Hidden Defects
In accordance with Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, AUREVONY is liable for hidden defects in the products sold that render them unfit for the purpose for which they are intended, or which so impair that purpose that the customer would not have purchased them, or would only have paid a lower price, had they been aware of the defect.
The customer must exercise their rights under this warranty within two years of discovering the hidden defect. The customer may choose to return the product and receive a full refund, or keep the product and receive a partial refund.
9.3 Commercial Warranty
Where a manufacturer's commercial warranty is included with a product, its terms will be communicated to the customer in the product information or packaging. Such a warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace or limit, the legal warranties described above.
Article 10 — Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If a customer receives a product that is defective, damaged in transit, or does not correspond to the ordered item, they must contact AUREVONY as soon as possible at contact@aurevony.com, providing:
- Their order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photographs of the product and packaging
AUREVONY will assess the reported issue and, where the claim is validated, will cover return shipping costs and offer the customer a replacement product, a credit note or a full refund, according to the customer's preference and product availability.
Article 11 — Customer Service and Complaints
For any question, concern or complaint relating to an order, product or these GTCS, customers may contact AUREVONY via the following channels:

In the event that a complaint is not resolved to the customer's satisfaction within 60 days, EU-resident customers may have recourse to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform and/or a certified consumer mediator, as detailed in Article 12.
Article 12 — Dispute Resolution and Mediation
12.1 Amicable Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from a purchase made on the AUREVONY store, the customer is encouraged to contact AUREVONY first at contact@aurevony.com in order to seek an amicable resolution before initiating any formal proceedings.
12.2 Consumer Mediation — France
In accordance with Articles L616-1 and R616-1 of the French Consumer Code, AUREVONY offers customers the right to refer any unresolved dispute to a certified consumer mediator, free of charge, after having first attempted to resolve the matter directly with AUREVONY without success.
Details of the applicable mediator are available upon request at contact@aurevony.com and will be displayed on the AUREVONY website.
12.3 European Online Dispute Resolution
In accordance with EU Regulation No. 524/2013, customers residing in the European Union may also submit complaints via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: 🔗 https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
Article 13 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
In the event of any dispute that cannot be resolved through mediation, the competent courts of Nice, France shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory provisions of consumer protection law applicable in the customer's country of residence that cannot be contractually overridden.
Customers residing in the European Union retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable under the law of their country of residence.
Article 14 — Personal Data
Personal data collected in the course of the sales process (name, delivery address, email address, payment information) is processed by SASU IDEVASION exclusively for the purposes of order processing, delivery, customer service and compliance with legal obligations.
Data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés). Customers have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of their personal data, and may exercise these rights by contacting contact@aurevony.com.

Article 15 — Force Majeure
AUREVONY shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these GTCS resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions, carrier failures, pandemics, government orders, cyberattacks, or any other event qualifying as force majeure under Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
In the event of force majeure, AUREVONY will notify the customer as soon as reasonably practicable and will use all reasonable efforts to resume performance or, where performance is impossible, to offer an appropriate remedy including cancellation and full refund.
Article 16 — Severability
If any provision of these GTCS is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable by a competent court, that provision shall be deemed severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Article 17 — Entire Agreement
These GTCS, together with the Return Policy, the Privacy Policy and any specific terms applicable to individual promotions or products, constitute the entire agreement between the customer and SASU IDEVASION with respect to any purchase made on the AUREVONY store. They supersede all prior negotiations, representations or agreements, whether written or oral.
